IPTV / Live TV
Your channels. One guide.
Bring your IPTV to Apple TV, iPhone and iPad. Plozz is a free, open-source player for your own playlists and authorized Live TV sources—not another channel subscription.
Start with the channels you already have.
- M3U playlistsConnect a playlist URL; import a playlist file on iPhone or iPad
- Xtream accountsUse your provider’s server address and account credentials
- XMLTV guidesProgram listings from your chosen guide or supported provider
- Media-server channelsAuthorized Plex, Jellyfin and Emby sources, subject to server capabilities
IPTV works without a media server. Connect a playlist or account you’re authorized to use, then add the guide for your lineup. Plozz doesn’t supply public channels.
More than a channel list.
- Guide and searchBrowse programs, search and filter by category
- Favorites and recentsShortcuts that belong to your Plozz profile
- Home shortcutsRecently watched channels and a favorites-first Live TV row, controlled by your Home settings
- Every screenRemote-focused navigation on Apple TV; native browsing on iPhone and iPad
Your configured sources meet in one guide. Find a channel or program, keep favorites close, and return to what you watched recently. Missing guide data doesn’t have to make a channel unplayable.
Watch up to four channels together.
- Up to four channelsSubject to your provider’s simultaneous-stream limits and device performance
- Layout and audioChoose the arrangement and audible picture
- Saved MultiviewsKeep favorite compositions on the device, per profile
Multiview keeps several pictures on screen and lets you choose which one you hear. Change the layout or return to a single channel without setting up the whole composition again.
Turn your library into a lineup.
- Automatic channelsMovie and TV lineups based on your actual library
- Themed channelsWhere your metadata and collection support them
- Custom channelsDefine the library mix you want to watch
Build scheduled channels from accessible Plex, Jellyfin and Emby libraries. Enable an automatic lineup or create custom channels. The content is still yours.
Before you connect
Do I need Plex, Jellyfin or Emby to use IPTV?
No. An M3U playlist or Xtream account can be used on its own, without a media-server account. You need an authorized source of channels; Plozz does not provide a channel catalog or subscription.
Which IPTV sources and guides can I add?
Use a playlist URL or an Xtream server, username and password. You can also import an M3U file through Files on iPhone and iPad. Add an XMLTV guide or use guide data from a supported source. Imported playlist files remain on the importing device; use a URL for a source that can refresh on multiple devices.
Can I watch more than one channel at once?
Yes. Multiview supports up to four channels, layout changes and audio selection. You can save favorite compositions on the device. Your source must allow the simultaneous streams; provider connection limits and device performance still apply.
Can my own movie and TV library become channels?
Yes. Plozz channels can build a lineup from accessible Plex, Jellyfin and Emby movie and TV libraries. Automatic lineups use your real library metadata; custom channels are also available. This is your own media arranged as a schedule, not a supplied TV service.
Does Live TV include catch-up or recording management?
No. Catch-up and recording management are not part of the current Live TV implementation. Stream and guide compatibility depend on your source. The source-setup introduction includes an Experimental note on Apple TV, iPhone and iPad.
